eviljake or anybody eles that can help me. Before I ask the question I like the bed on your truck. I think it looks real good on there. The bumper does to. I like how you took the pic of your truck and slammed it down, my question is how did you do that. I would like to play around with my 51 like that but can figure out how to do what you did. Thanks for any help out all.

photoshop. I'm not too good at it, but I've seen some that are VERY convincing.

I don't actually have photoshop, but I've got a much cheaper version called MGI photosuite. It has a freehand cutout feature, so I just trace around the truck and lower it down. Save as a new photo. Then you can use the original to fill in places on the new one.

It really works for me! I think it'll look great. (Flipping the front bumper and smoothing off the bolt heads would look good too.

It's a two thumbs up from me, I think it looks great. I like the stance you are striving for.

I'm sorry but it looks like a decent Ford truck with a Chevy bed on it.Please tell us it doesn't have the Chevy tailgate on it.

I have to disagree with the rest, I don't think the Ch**y box works on the truck. I think you're going to have a lot of people point out that the box is from the Dark Side, even if you don't hear them say it. When I go to car shows people seem to take great pride in picking apart every flaw in an otherwise nice vehicle. IMO, I just wouldn't do it. Maybe, if possible, go with a later model Ford box. At least you won't have people making nasty comments about your truck. It's your truck and you can do what you want but you also asked for honest feedback.

I really appreciate the feedback. I'm fairly certain that I'm going to go with it. Once I get the Mustang II or Dakota front suspension installed, and flip the rear, I'll be much happier with it. This truck will never see a car show. I'm glad to see that some people agree with me on the look. I like the cookies here on the dark side.

I agree with your thinking, I don`t care for the ch**y box either but it`s up to the owner and using what is easily available is one way to go.
I second the thoughts on the tailgate too thomc.

I would not mind the box too much (its not my taste), but the tailgate needs to be smoothed or something. You don't want a ford truck saying chevrolet across the back.
