Question KAM Memory Re-learn, OBDII, and flash

Simple question...not sure if KAM memeory is being cleared when you clear OBDII codes? Do you have to do a re-learn every time you clear codes or is KAM some more advanced thing? Not sure if the flash stuff, KAM, and obdII stuff are the same computer and or if the flash and KAm are more advanced things than the OBDII deals with.

Any pointers. Ive never done a re-learn after clearing a code. Seems kinda long and arduous for every time my truck throws a code, which has been every time I drove more than 100 miles at a time.
