Back to topic, When I did the air filter on the wife's EX it made a very small difference in mpg but I can hear that turbo very good now. You will like it when it whistles. The Exhaust helps even more...PMS begins

yeah, i didn't get into that mess as i don't know much about trannies or what shift kits work and what doesn't. all i know is that i don't like any of the banks performance parts. if i had an auto i would be trying your method before i tried anything from banks. actually i would probably try your method first b/c it's a lot cheaper
