Daina and i will be in the city Friday afternoon sometime but apparantly i now have to do some work to the kids truck (says it won't crank brand X, S10).

So the invite is out there for all who want to get together at Gordie Howe campground this cruise weekend. We will be there with a green Boler and the Plymouth (all painted the same color).

Not sure when would be a good time..........
Friday night is racing at Auto Clearing
Saturday is there a poker rally somewhere and a car show at Walmart ?
Saturday night is see and be seen on 8th
Sunday is of course downtown car show
Sunday night is maybe free

We are intown till Monday morning then we pack up Fair Lane Estates....the cute name we named our Boler and head home.

I think we were thinking of coming over to Gordie howe park around 5pm on Saturday and then hit 8th street afterwards. I thought that is what the guys were thinking about.

 

I dunno??? all I know is that I'll either be following Chris or Moe around....

 

I like Glen`s ideas, if time permits a winer roast around 5pm Sat and then meet up at the A&W around 7 or so then watch/cruise 8 Street!!!!
Then we meet up for the Sunday show at around 10 am.

so gordie howe park at 5 is it?? I dont think im putting the truck in the show. I dont like having to spend my whole afternoon sitting by my truck to make sure no idiot and their kids run hands etc all over it. I dont like to commit myself to that much time down there

 

It would be nice for us to all meet up on Sat at 5 with Shaune/family then either go to the A&W or just cruise 8 Street. We can all bring a pot luck item or two and some of your favorite treats to share.
Then meet up Sunday morning at the Cruise around 10 am after deciding on a location Sat. evening.
Sound like a plan?
Hopefully sometime over the winter we can organize an FTE club display, a show & shine or at least a cruise for next summer.

 

good idea Fom, definately something to ponder on the cold winter days. shows like the pike lake, your cruise night etc could really get the word out.
