Well everyone, can you believe it's that time of the year again?? In just two days we start the State Fair and then 6 weeks later the "early birds" get there $$CHECK$$. Gosh you gotta love Alaska. And with the silvers on the end of the line, the moose and caribou at the end of the rifle and the birds at the end of the shotgun, who doesn't like the end of summer and the start of fall in Alaska....except for that one dreaded word in our vocabulary........Termination Dust. LOL
See ya at the Fair................

WillisD250 I just returned from a trip to your great state, first time there. We went by car, sorry to say not a Ford was Subaru Outback which seem to have a pretty good following in Alaska. What a great place if I was younger I believe I would consider a change in residence, but at 70 I thiink its time to forget that. I love to hunt and fish what a land for that. Finally the people, are the best, must be the fact you don't know when you need someones help. Here in the east it is more dog eat dog. I do have one question you referred to the check, how much do you recieve in oil royalties? I should have asked someone while there but didn't. Thanks.
Silvers are just starting to run in the kenai, ranbow fishing is great this time of the year the campgrounds are almost empty. A little to warm to go moose hunting yet, might have to head north to go hunting again.

I will just be happy to finally get my truck fixed. I have missed the whole summer. The PFD is the only way I can pay for the big fixes that I can't do myself.
