I do not think it is shorter. Look at the hood. That hood and fender combo appears to have been lengthened, but the front axle looks like it is still in the stock location.
How did it do on the trail? Obviously did not get too crazy climbing things. That breakover angle is for the birds. Looks like it might need help getting off of the trailer, and actually the trailer next to it has better ground clearance.
That Chevy is just bad. I can't see anyone doing that to a newer truck that they are not trying to make a complete joke out of. What's sad is the guy probably thinks he's "big pimpin'" or something in it.

Oh, you know he is!
TWO set of chrome nurf bars and chrome wheels.
He thinks he pimping more than the ghost in the last picture(look at the last picture in second post, and you can see a face of an old man).
Hey Ed that gives me a good idea. To convert my crew to 4wd ill just cut sections out of a 4wd chassis and weld it to the bottom of my frame in pre planned positions then just fill in the gaps with c channel..... Or how bout not. Only a chebby guy would pull that crap.
Dave:
Funny that you mentioned that. I was going to PM you and tell you that your CC problems are solved. We would have to fly this "brilliant engineer" out to give you some pointers. LMFAO!
