Making out on selling parts
This is not an add its a story
I had whole truck advertised for $500 a 93 f150 4x4 bad motor. No takers . I start selling parts and still have a rolling truck and made $500 and am selling stuff cheap. Still has good doors and axles ,drive shaft many parts . I might buy another to part and just save parts I need.
What really funny is I have been offer what I wanted when everything was there. oh well

that seems to be the way it always goes.
i had a 94 dodge shadow for sale for $750 for 6 months. no takers.
3 weeks ago, i got a call if i still had it, and i sold the engine for $750, then the body for $250 to the engine buyers friend.
last week i got another one for free, and just sold it for $750.
all i had to do was charge the air conditioner and replace the driver side rear brake line.
total investment?? $45

I too reply to all ads.I've had some success selling stuff on FTE.The thing I can't figure out is why someone who is say 75 miles from me won't buy a part but I'll end up selling it to someone on the west coast.I just sold a steering column to a guy in Las Vegas over at another site. The UPS charges were more than the seliing price. The buyer sent a USPS money order via express mail.

I have one and there are several nice ones at local wreckers (they like to push the after market ones it seems. But shipping would be nuts for it. I bought my current 94 truck near there. I go to Marryland and south to get my rides .The body are nice.
