What do you expect to get on a Ford site ya douchebag? What are you doing hanging out here anyways; you questioning your purchase? And yes, you bought a pavement queen. We don't purchase Duraturds for use on the jobsites due to them getting high centered all the time. Time for GM to stop putting spare savers on their trucks and put a real set of wheels and tires and a solid axle on there.

Also, the 6.4 has been pretty much problem free since the injector issue in the beginning. Im sure you read about that with the LB7. Teething pains are a bitch sometimes.

Wink Wikipedia

You should note anyone of us can create and edit an entry in wikipedia - whether it is factual or not.

If it was mentioned in motor trend or one of the other fish-wraps I would take it more seriously.

Agree DMax brings on some good debates. I'm A GM person too. Had several Chevy trucks, and own GM Cars. My buddies own Silverados and Rams. Love to debate with them camping. Two brothers that camp with us own a the 3500 and 350 duke it up too. Bashing doesn't get anyone anyplace. Did I tell you how much I like my F450, in my opinion the best Truck ever made .

I agree I just got my F 350 diesel today, Awesome Truck. I looked at the GM products not only are they ugly , I have owned GM trucks for over 30 yrs and the last 3 have had serious engine problems. Figured its time to go to the other side since bieng #1 for 30 yrs says something !

Not out of the question of me having a Ford someday. Only thing scared me away this time was the 'initial' problems 'some' people had with the 6.0 (please note how I phrased that 6.0 owners - no blanket statement) and Ford / Internationals problems w/ each other. Plus I had good look with the previous DMax. But I've also had very good luck with 7.3's in the past. From what I've seen and heard those fears haven't come to any realization. Only thing that could be taken as a negative about the 6.4 is mpg vs. the other 2.

For the record I do belong to GM boards and there are some long time Ford and Cummins guys on some of those places and like me - they keep the conversations somewhat realistic in vs. threads and it's kinda nice to have a differant perspective.

That's not to say I can't be a lil 'combative' at times. But I've leaned it really doesn't do any good because I'm not really gonna change anybodies mind. Plus I've been on enough boards to hear every excuse or reason to own or not own each make of diesel pickup.

I like the "Pavement Princess" for Chevy it fits them so well. My 1988 F-350 4x4 stock front end has more weight capacity than a 2007 Bow-tie 3500. Not eager to keep up with the competition apparently. If it wasn't for that D80 rear end a solid engine and transmission set up might as well keep them bow-ties parked.

My Father is an avid Bow-Tie Man 2006 3500 4x4 Duramax 6spd allison SRW for the brief time they offered it. But a son is always supposed to be smarter from his Father's wisdom So, I have been a Ford Man ever since! LOL
