EGR???
Are all v-10s non egr? My 2000 f250 does not have an air pump or an egr valve. Is this because of the 8500# rating? Which ones do?I am glad that i dont! Also do we have sensors on the cat-convertor? I havent seen them if we do.I have heard some reference to them, but they must be hidden pretty good. Thanks

No. Trucks with California emmissions should have EGR. That includes all those states with the green weenies in charge. MA being one but my truck was sold in NH, so it is a non-EGR engine, like yours.

It is before the cat, I believe. Haven't looked in awhile.

EGR???
I think mine is in a air hose that leads from the top of the intake manifold to the top of the right hand valve cover. I had a hole in the elbow that connects to that hose right before leading into the manifold. Damn was it throwing off my engine. And the Ford dealer ordered the other part that connected to the elbow which contanined an EGR valve. I think the ones that are in the y-pipe are oxygen sensors. As one malfunctioned right after putting on my headers. Expensive puppies! Hope this helps.
