37 1/2 Ton For?????????

Anyone out there interested in doing up a 37 1/2 Ton for a Rod or whatever? I have an extra one here that could be saved needs some help and time, but could make a nice rod or restore.
Has a nice clean Western Frame, body is currently apart, now if you want to do one up the dismantleing is already done, and you can see what you are getting.
There is an engine, but no Transmission, or Rad.
Just thought I would post it if anyone is interested.

3Mike6

You have the ride that I have been looking for, your 36 that is. Just went to your gallery and took a look at it.
My 37 that I have posted above is in about the same state, as your 36.
I also have another 37 which is currently on the road and in all original untouched condition. By that I mean it still has the original running gear other than the 4 speed which I got rid of. Other than that its never been painted, I mean never still has the cable brakes but its used for a back roader and you have to use a little common sense.
With remarks to the 3.78 Diff you are intending to run, wouldn't something like a 3.25 work a little better with the AOD, and the 5.0.
The tranny will take up the slack, that 3.73 is a little to tall for the AOD, and for a small light truck like the 36.
Anyway just thought I would add a comment to that, again its your ride and whatever suits you best.

Re: The rear gears...I made a few changes in my build and amassed some parts....originally I was just going to se what I had on hand...the F-1 rear in the back and the dropped axle up front, but...

I'm going with a Heidts SuperRide2 frontend, I bought the kit, along with a narrowed Currie 9inch housing, and TigerDan gave me a 3.0 dropin.

I'll probably go with a 4-bar and coil overs in the rear, it won't be a hotrod, but I want a real nice ride...besides, after dumping 2300 into parts for the frontend, it'd be a shame to run leafs in the rear

The Heidts stuff is still in boxes stacked next to the '36, and few weeks ago I cleaned up the dropin and put new bearings in it, just need to finish setting up the gear mesh...but I'm side tracked on a '31 Dodge PU righty now that I need to finish and sell off...make some money on it and make some room to start on the '36 again.

I need to update my gallery, that for sure.

I think I saw a pic you posted of your '37 awhile back...

Nice truck!

Thats was my 37 you saw on here in an earlier post, as well as the Barn. Still have that one, and picked up this other one. Don't really need 2 of them so I thought I would put it up for grabs.
Has a real nice Frame, and its a roller, so who ever gets it can do with it what they want to.
I still have a love for the 36, its ot to be one of the best looking trucks Henry built in my own personal opinion.
I've had quite a few Ford's in the last couple of decades, but not a 36.

Ya must have gotten me motivated, I needed some shop and table space to continue with the '31, only thing I had available was holding the 9-inch dropin...so, decided to set it up, paint up the Currie housing...will put it all together later this evening when the housing is dry.

I might need to get another digital camera and update the gallery sooner, rather than later
