What Have You Found .......
that was helpful in your travels around the FTE site?
Well for the new members, I just want to mention that the blue arrow under the "Last Post" column in the main chapter thread will take you to the last post in that thread.
What are some of the things you other members have found useful?

Buddy Lists
Do you guys use the buddy list feature that will show you who on your list is online?
To setup a buddy list while viewing a post, click on the username and then click on add.
You then can open your buddy list by clicking on "Quick Links" in the blue tool bar at the top of any page and select "Open Buddy List".

Do you know that the FTE site has automatic filters built in to monitor what is in a post because this is a family site?
Sometimes a post goes to the moderator pool and doesn't get post right away until it is screened for one of the magic words.
When the post does appear you may see that a word or too has been edited out.
For example, George Carlin's 7 words you can't say on TV would qualify as magic words. LOL

Did you know that you can click of the number assigned to a post to get a direct link to that post?
Just above each post, to the right side of the page you will see #xx. Click on that number and it takes you to a new window that shows just that post. When the new window opens, just copy the link, close the window and paste it where you want.
Makes it easy for you to PM that info or post in a new post.

Did you know that you can "Subscribe" to a thread topic?
If you want to follow a topic of interest, but you haven't replied to that topic, you can use the "Thread Tools" found at the top of the page and click on "Subscribe to This Thread" and select how you want to be notified of new posts.
