hi, i was wondering if anyone in NJ can recommend a shop to fix a spit plug. i dont really trust random mechanics touching my cars. i've read this is a normal issue which really sucks on ford's part. basically looking for anyone's local experience with the repair as i would rather not have to attempt to fix it myself.... i wont take it to the dealer to have them tell me it needs a new head that is $3000 or whatever. i already called ford customer relations basically told me too bad. even though my truck actually had an extended warranty that just expired in june!
Were you at?.... is it for the v10?...... If it is do a search in the v 10 fourms.spitting plug.on do it your self-repair.the ford dealer i use in ocean co is

a new plug went in... and new coil and it ran normally. only let it run for a minute though. i'm going to change all the plugs tomorrow and retorque everything. then take it for a ride and see if i got REAL lucky... on the old plug only the last thread and half were damaged. i'm crossing my fingers!
