97 4.6 horsepower

just wondering about the horsepower rating of a 97 4.6 compared to a 98-2001 model f150. i think the rated h/p on the 97 was 210 and on the 98-2001 models it is 220. does anyone know what the differance is in the motor from 97 to 98-2001. and can i make the change to my 97 f150 4x4.

thank you

97 4.6 horsepower

The power for a 97 4.6 was 215. 1998 remained the same and 99 it went to 220 and in 2000 it went to 240. It remained at 240 for 2001.
