Humm, F-250 SD brakes. I have 4 wheel disc brakes now. Are the SD brakes better than I have? My truck has the 3:78 traction control and sway bars front and rear from the factory.
Good thoughts. Keep the ideas flowing. Its easier on paper than after about a month of troubles.
The first problem is finding a complete Lighting set-up. Its a dream and I have set the funds aside for the project. Of course I could buy a real Lightning for the wife to drive and be done with it, but I do not want another car payment. Besides I have to limit my cars to 3 and I am over the limit now. I do not count the garage Queen(Pantera).

 

Well, I just know that the Lighnting uses F-250 SD brakes. I'm assuming it's cause they want excelent stopping power on the Lightning, and they know people will drive it very fast? I'm not totally sure of the exact reason why they used that. And things like steering stabilizers, sway bars, etc., I believe were all beefed up. I could be wrong. Best bet is to look at the specs of the Lightning, and asume you will have to make the same changes to your rig.
