I have a fuel injected 302 out of an87 f250 that I rebuilt, and it has 10k miles on it. The truck is shot, so I want to get rid of it and find something to swap the engine into. I was thinking f150, but I would really like to have one of the newer body style bronco's. Are there many of them out there with bad engines?

 

im sure they are out there. I have 1 but is an 85 that your efi 302 would drop right into. check craigslist,ebay etc... if you look west coast and southern states you will find them in better conditon then on the east coast. also depending on the year you probably shouldnt pay more then 1500. mine for instance im only asking $800 just to give you an idea.

Short answer is no. They share the same engine as the F-series trucks. You can probably find one that some kid drove into a river or forgot to change the oil on though...

 

yep lots of them . I know of 3 93-95 (1 bronco 2 truck ) right now with around 120000-130000 that are sitting with bad motors. But they want to much . I can get a runnier for same price,. Allot of people think its a 10 year old truck why bother even if in good shape.

But yes they are out there. Watch adds ,Local email services allot have classifieds that are free and you can access with out there sevice . Where I get all my stuff. Just look around , I drove 550 miles to get the 94 sc 4x4 I drive now rust free but bad Mtor for $1200 . Good luck
