Unhappy 1986 F150 Gas Tank Venting...HELP

I am new to the forum and hope someone can help.
I am having an issue venting my tank as gas is being pumped in to it.
The tank was replaced by a previous owner, then I changed the filler neck, then the venting valve on top of the tank, then the entire fuel filler neck with internal vent tube and it still has not helped. I can't pump more than a few pennies before it shuts off on me. I am at my witts end....
Any suggestions?
They will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum

I would remove the filler hose again and look for internal blockage. Perhaps the inner vent tube is too close to where the pump nozzle is sitting.

Welcome to FTE

It's impossible to assist you when the following isn't known:

Flareside or Styleside pickup bed? / Midship or Aft Axle Fuel Tank? / Engine size is?

Different filler necks, type of tank (plastic or steel), different hoses are used depending on location of tank and bed type.

Thanks for the reply.
Here is more info on my truck:
It has a 300 straight 6, styleside 8 foot box, with a midship tank, and a steel filler neck with a rubber hose connecting it to the tank.
The vent hose inside is plastic and I will look for a blockage.
Thanks again for the responses and I thank you in advance for anymore info or advice anyone will share.

Picture shows filler neck; clamp; short curved hose; clamp; short straight metal tube; clamp; and filler hose with bend at end where it clamps to the tank. The long filler hose has a steel support on the bottom of it. (Sorry, I can't post the illustration, I'm using Ford microfiche slides).

Here the reference for the illustration, a Ford dealer will have the exact same reference, so they can show you what the system is supposed to be.
