New RAM 1500 + New Transmission

The Cummins V8 especially interests me as does the automatic manual transmission.

Would be nice to see Dodge / Chrysler get back into the game.

I will be honest - the automatic manual system would scare the absolute crap outta me... I have a lot of experience with them in Ford Transits, and they are the worst thing ever invented.

The fact that it is a transmission, and Chrysler is anywhere near it too doesn't help things...

The Cummins V8 will be interesting, but having driven a Range Rover Sport a week ago with the 3.6l diesel (which essentially will be what will arrive in the 09 F150) - the Cummins better be a damn good engine.
The Range Rover had NVH like a gas motor - and really hauled the 2.5t SUV around much quicker than one would expect. Overtaking accel was really good - and the transmission that came with it (which admittedly won't make it to the F150) made gear changes exactly when I would have done if it was a stick.
