If it's like the vans...uh oh brain fart...if memory serves right is on the drivers side rear of the engine...I think thats right. Our 3 V10s run so good I'm not hardly in any of them all that often.

you may not even have one on the f550. Is there a vacuum diagram sticker under the hood to look at? It would at least show up there.

Oh come one now, you really think the EPA would let one slip through w/o an EGR?
Good point though. F550 didn't even register w/ me. But! I wonder what they would have changed on the 6.8 in the 550 to keep away from detonation.

In the Superduty, only the '99's had an EGR valve. They disappeared after that.

V10 Rough Idle

Hello Pete here . My 2002 F350 V10 suddenly started idling rough . I have read the posts and have checked everything mentioned in posts PCV Valve is clean and clicks properly cheepo 90 elbow was replaced with copper long ago , connections are all good mileage is 100,875 and plugs were replaced 4 months ago , I have a fuel filter laying on my work bench that I have been meaning to install but that wouldnt cause the engine lite to come on which is illuminated . any advice would be appreciated this truck is in pristine condition and has never had any problems Pete
