This linkage was used until the switch to a hydralic clutch.
I need the two rods, and Ford sez that they are NA.
Thanks

What two rods? Where do they go?
Guessing that one is from the bellcrank off the clutch equalizer (Z) bar to the bellcrank off the clutch pedal, and...?
What size engine? Three or four speed? Need the VIN also.
If the parts guy at the dealer didn't ask you these questions, he never looked for the parts, he just shined you on.

I don't know if the rods on an F-150 will work.
According to my Haynes manual.
One rod comes down thru the floor,
and I believe it is called the “idler rod”,
and one goes from the bell crank to the clutch equalizer,
which they call the “rod”
Both have deep enough wear groves in them so that the rebuild kit won’t work.
While I could weld and grind, I am hoping that I can find a linkage that does not need more than the factory rebuild kit.
Thanks
David

Trans code not in the VIN but I'm guessing the manual transmission has overdrive, right?
OK...here's the deal...I'll look up the parts, see if Ford still lists them, then do a search for the parts if they don't. Give me 10 minutes.

D5UZ-7A580-A .. Rod = Idler Lever
E2TZ-7521-A .. Rod = Clutch Pedal to Equalizer Lever (>> updated Ford part number..Replaced D5UZ-7521-A << )
These parts are the same for all 1975/83 Econolines.
It doesn't make any difference what type of manual transmission it is.
These parts are all obsolete.
searching obsolete sources...brb EDIT: NOTHING FOUND
Call FTE sponsor GREEN SALES 800-543-4959 (Cincinnati Ohio)
Give them the two numbers I listed above, ask them to see if they can find them for you...
Otherwise it's the junkyard only.

thanks,
Currently I have used the best parts of three different clutch linkages.
But all of the rods needed mig welding to make them work with the bushing kit.
If only I knew the correct amount of end play for the clutch equalizer.
[did they move the drivetrain farther to the passenger side?]
My last hurdles are reducing a 89 wiring harness to a 78,
and installing the 9 inch when it's posi and 4.11 are installed.
