I was expecting E85 to be much cheeper, I guess I was wrong, I had heard it was around $1-$1.5 a gallon.... that must be bogus info....damn that grapevine
Here in Michigan I saw it for $2.54. Reg gas $3.05

That makes sense considering ethanol is SUBSIDIZED by American TAX DOLLARS at $0.51 a gallon. Later... Mike....

Anyone find it interesting that the subsidized amount ALMOST makes ethanol equal to gasoline in the cost per mile of operation?
In other words, at the cheaper price and factoring in the loss of fuel mileage, it will STILL cost more to run ethanol for 1000 miles than it will gasoline.
