trucks got about 16k on it. I tow alot yes. I transport horses for a living so while the truck is down, im not making money. it scares me to think they have to pull the cab to work on the motor.

I didnt get a chance to get down there today. You gotta remeber I live on a ranch so work here comes priority over picture takin. I'll try to get down there tomorrow just for you

I own my own horse transporting business called Champion Horse Transportation. Why you need some horses hauled? I give special rates for FTE members

So the head gasket issue was resolved and the truck is up and running once again. I lucked out on this time, it wasnt a pinched gasket like the other side. it was your typical garden variety blown head gasket. So they got it all buttoned up and she's up and running strong again. The dealer service managaer recommends I go with head studs if im gonna run a tuner. Any thoughts on this?

I gotta agree with the studs but I'm not sure they make ones for the 6.4 yet as it has larger studs than the 6.0. I would like to hear from some techs as to whether they are hearing anything about Head gasket issues with the 6.4>>>>

Head gasket issues?
I was told that the 6.4 has bigger head bolts and more of them to eliminate this problem.
Maybe yours was one of a very small number of failures.
I hope so for Fords sake.

Seems funny that of all the 6.4 stories I have read on the internet yours is the only one that;
1. has had head gasket issues.
2. has not gone into regeneration hell after removing the DPF.
3. gets 18 mpg+
