Just got it, first impressions.....

Got my F-350 lariat on Tuesday and have just over 300 miles on it so far, thought I would post my first impression.

Mileage....14.0, mixed driving, not bad for a brand new engine. Going to keep track of it and see how it progresses.

Had the first regen right at 300 miles. With all the concern about liability now a days I'm quite surprised at this idea. I couldnt even put my hand near the exhaust. A toddler walking by, another car in the garage, drywall......what are the other manufacturers doing instead of the DPF?

Most used and coolest option so far....the tailgate step, pure genius.

The audiophile system is great, not even thinking of aftermarket stereo stuff.

Love the power mirrors and the ear flapping option...

Trying to get 500 miles on her by Saturday so I can take the trailer up north to scout for an elk hunt. I will post on the first tow as well.

I enjoy the site and appreciate everything I learned here prior to buying.

So you traded in the white bronco? All the other manufacturers have a dpf, not just ford. Thank the EPA. Congrats on the truck and welcome to the site.

Edit: Aww man, just got done reading the other posts. And I thought I was being original with the OJ joke. I have a feeling you will get that a lot.

You will love your new truck!!!! I would love to have the power mirrors on my truck and I agree that tailgate step is cool.

When you locate your elk please post a GPS location and I promise to do the same in return. Matter of fact I have been scouting since July 4th. I just have not yet found the one I'm looking for. If you would like you could PM with the location.... LOL!!!!!

Seriously good luck Elk hunting this year!!!!!!!!!!!

The power mirrors remind me of the swept back wings on the F-15 fighter jet. When I get going real fast down the highway I bring those mirrors back in for better aero dynamics! LOL!

Oh yeah BTW. I just got my F350 CC Long bed Lariet on Monday! I have to agree I love this truck.

Enorma, the Elk are in WA down by the hanford facility off the Yakima river. If you got a couple grand you can get a tag and knock ya down one of the many 8x8's runnin around there....... Just a thought

Yeah you got some good ones up there!!! I hunt with a bow and have hunted the northeast corner of Oregon, right at the Washington border and there are some real big bulls in there. I just can't draw a tag for them....

I have a bull tag in 4a up on the rim. Gonna hunt around the Chevlon area.

I drew a cow in 6A. Better than nothing which is exactly what I have drawn the last 10 years.

They moved it up to make it harder on out-of-staters.
