Looking good.
I don't think I could put that much time into the body when I'm just going to ram it into trees/rocks, lol.
What color are you going with?
cant wait to see it all done and driving around
oo, and how did you mount your straps to lift the body? We're going to use the bobcat to lift mine back onto the frame and I wasn't sure how to go about doing that. I was thinking using a few of the body mount holes and sticking the bolts through a chain or something.

That's lookin gooooood there 79. That fourth picture in post number one is really giving me some ideas. Look at it and try and forget there's a front end on that tractor. Them ole wagon wheels would look good all the way around............."now how can I fit em on there safely???????????" I wonder??????

I have to agree with everyone so far, its looking pretty damn good. I plan on getting mine into better shape next spring when I get back. What color are you going to paint her? I'm thinking of doing something kinda like a mix between a copper/candy orange/bronzish color something like that, I just havent decided what shade I want it to be.

To get rid of rust, you have to cut it out, so I would of either cut the fenders(like to put fender flares), to get rid of the rust, and to clear bigger tires, but I wouldn't put fender flares, just roll the edges of the lip so it couldn't cut the tires.
Or cut out the rust, and put patch panels. I want to say a few places carry them, and I think JCWhitney is one of them, and they aren't to expensive, but you would have to do a good bit of welding and grinding for them to look good.
Like I said, the fenders look very nice with the bondo (a good bondo job), and should last for several years with no ill effects. Good luck, and keep us posted.

I did use a grinder to cut about 1/4'' around where the rust was before i did the bondo.
I had thought about welding in a pach, but i am new to welding and not very good. But by the time I need to redo it mabey I will beable to weld in a pach my self.
