Talking Alcoa lugnut and center cap pics

I have always thought that the facory center caps on my dually had little to be desired. So I turned to our sponsors at Southwest Wheel and here is the end result. You will also note that I installed a set of Warn Premium Manual Locking Hubs, which required a little work with a dremel. What do you guys think?!

Alcoa center cap. Southwest Wheel has them for SRW trucks too.

I like those lugs, and them center caps are a nice compliment. What did that set you back about $150 for the all?

You know I have the same caps on mine and like the look but found they're finicky at tire rotation as the lip deforms and you kind of have to reform it before you put the lugs back. (which, fortunately, is really easy) Did you have to notch your fronts for the spring clip sticking out from the hub? Mine wouldn't go on without a real shallow recess filed into the side for the spring ends to clear.

totin_tools - a little under $300 for the whole set.

TwelveAlpha - yeah I've heard similar stories about the center cap lips. The springs for the hubs went in perfectly with no modification.

Damn chris that looks great. Completely custom! I like how the lugs are open and shiney. Do you have a farther away picture?

Yeah, I'll load them tonight. They sure give the wheels more of a custom look. To me, its the little things that set our trucks apart!

early Bday present Chris? I thought we decided to do intanks, yours for your bday and mine for my anniversary? Are we still going to make a Saturday of fuel? You need to go ahead and have M.A. order you a C-C kit too.

ON EDIT: I like the covers, I know how self concious you've been about the way your nuts look lately ( damn, that didn't come out right) Oh well (flame suit on).

Yeah, Brandon it was my B-day present. I know we talked about the pre-pump and in-tank kit but the stock center caps were just bugging me! I might be able to swing it next month. Believe me, a Saturday-of-fuel IS in the future. BTW, I owe you for that nut comment!

Green_Dually: The Warn Premium manual locking hubs are not designed for the duallies because of the front spacer. However, if you pull the spacer off and dremel (or grind) the center casting seam alittle and they will fit! Basically the chrome housing of the Warn hub is a smidgen too big.
