Post hide and seek fuel pumps

f-series 1/2 have two fuel pumps on the single tank system. a low pressure sump pump is located in the tank, this is where your fuel sending unit is attached. its also the one that usually goes out. the second one is a high pressure, constant flow pump that sends pressurized fuel to the engine and sends excess fuel back to the fuel tank to maintain constant fuel fuel and pressure.

whats wrong with ur fuel pump?

You could just have high pressure pumps in the tank/s as well...

Yes, if you have fuel injection. Tell us what year your truck is and what engine you have, and we can explain what you got.

You actually have 3 fuel pumps. One in each gas tank and one in the frame rail, roughly under where the driver sits.
