Brake booster?

So I just moved to Northern Virginia from Iowa, driving in on Fri-Sat. I drove my 88 K5 Blazer out here and it actually did great on fuel consumption and cruising speed however since Ive arrived my breaking power has gone down about 50%. It had new rotors and pads on the front just before I left Iowa and now it has a very spongey pedel feel and takes forever to stop. Could this be a brake booster? Im not sure how Im going to fix any of this as I cant work on my truck here at the house because of the home owners association. Does this problem sound like a brake booster to anyone else? Fluid level in the master cyl is full as Ive checked in multiple times. I start work on Monday and hope to get this figured out tonight.

Well, since you are on a Ford site, I have to be the 1st to say that the problem with the blazer is the bow tie on the front!!

Now that the ice is broken, whe you put new pads on, did you change the fluid or open the bleeders any? Might have an air bubble in the line. Try to open all for bleeders and gravity bleed the system and also check for any loose fittings as this will allow the air to be sucked back into the system. If that doesn't fix it, then you may have either a bad booster or master cylinder. Either way, if it's the booster, might as well change the MC while you are at it.
