anyone working minimum wage is not earning anything close to 33k a year.
its not how much you make, its what you do with it.
and it just stated the median wage, which means half the families make less than that and half make more, in no way does it state that the people who buy the trucks make that much or less, it is an inappropriate use of a statistic to put a blue collar, hard labor worker appeal to the truck.

not starting an argument but did you read the article ,not putting anyone down that can afford the payment's on a rig like that but the article clearly spell's out that the area that's stated is not a wealthy one, hell i make $60000.00 a year and bought a used 07 expy to save some buck's and that's the 1st used car we bought in 34 year's(1970 buick in 1974) time's are tough all over,if i missed a point and am wrong i'm sorry.

it is just a poorly written article. the author is trying to relate the truck to the hard workers of america, rather poorly in my opinion.
it did not mention any sales figures, what the income was of the people buying the trucks, which options were on the trucks sold (like the diesel option) etc.
