this dosent have to do with Ford trucks but...

My dad has a 74 Jeep for his offroad toy it has killed 4 350 chevies im getting sick of helping him work on them how hard would it be to put a 351C or 400M ford motor in it?
please help it just blew out the rings and has a oil pan full of gas im ready to dig a hole and bury these chevy motors

this dosent have to do with Ford trucks but...

I'd say check over at www.advanceadapters.com If anyone could tell you the possibility of this swap it would be those guys. I would have to guess a 302 or 351W swap would be a lot cheaper, just based on the availability of those engines in the marketplace.

Advanced has an adapter to bolt a small block Ford to TH400 autos. God knows why when the c6 kicks a TH400 butt, but this may be right up your ally if there's a Ch$@# in there now.

Okay tell me if im wrong but isnt it hard to dump gas down into the cylnders if the motor isnt running and have the gas get past the rings somehow?

if you have gas in the pan, it can be from the mechanical fuel pump. if the diaphragm in the pump is leaking, you can get gas in the sump.

oh ,by the way, gas can wash right by the rings into the pan since it is thinner than oil.
