Wiring in a 302

I'm restoring a 1941 Ford Truck but am replacing the flat head V8 with a 1986 Ford Mustang 302 5.0.

I am trying to find out what in the wiring is required, where is the best place to find a wiring harness kit for this motor would be and what parts might not be required since I am not going to have all the fluff in this truck. I still want to keep the power of the 5.0.

Does anyone know of any books re: a swap like this and is there anyone that can give me advice on the subject that's built a rod car or truck.

Thanks - Steve
