I'm guessing that I could swap out 02 Excursion limited buckets and console for a Super Duty Lariat bench seat? Has anyone done this swap? Is there any problems to consider? Do all years up to 08 fit? Does anybody know what leather- power- heated bucket seats and console are worth? and... what the leather bench seat would be worth?

I'm doing a seat swap now. I have an XL bench seat in my 2002, and am working to swap in a set of 40/20/40 seats from a 2004.

The seat belts are different, so make sure yours are set up OK. My XL has the seatbelts on on the ceiling and floor of the cab. That is where the pretensioners are too.

The 2004 seats have built in seatbelts and pretensioners.

As far as I can tell, all the holes in the cab floor are the same.

My local salvage yard said leather seats were $600, cloth $200.

 

If you get the seats out of a early supercab, or any year crew cab the seatbelts will not be built into the seat. Ford started building the seatbelts into the seats in the supercabs around 2001 or 2002 I think.

 

I'd like to swap my rear bench for a 40/60 folding unit out of an XLT or Lariat
