VGT Sensor Failure

I purchased my 08 at the end of May and I love the truck. Had a few minor interior issues that had to be fixed, but after a 3K mile trip the Check Engine light came on. Bad VGT sensor. Took a week to get the part, then a day and a 1/2 to get the part replaced. This is my first diesel and have heard/read that this was one of the issues on the earlier 6.0's. Anyone else have a similar issue, and is this something I should be concerned about?

the vgt solenoid is not the same for 6.0 and 6.4. The vgt is oil operated on the 6.0 and its electronic on the 6.4. Different turbos, different vgts. Nope, totally different.
