Sorry to dig up an old thread but I been wanting to get the Black DC-1's. Mainly I was worried about how they would hold up over time. So how are are they holding up for you guys how have had them awhile? Any rusting or flacking problems, etc?

Mine that I had on my truck did alright but I made the mistake of leaving them on during winter and the harsh de-icing chemicals caused the clearcoat to flake off around the outer edges near the s.s. bolts. Other than not being good winter wheels they did great during the summer months.

rugermack is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
My friend has an Excursion and put the black DC-1s on his truck. They look great, his truck is silver/dark charcoal. Only one problem, two of the four rims started to have slow leaks in the castings. 4wheelParts replaced both rims at no cost to him. these rims are made at the same place as the Mickey Ts, and Pro Comps. Must have just been a bad day or a new employee, his rims are a year old now. The rest seem fine and I never heard of anyone else having this problem. I'm not bashing them, just a heads up. His rims do look great, and 4wheel parts took care of the problem, without any excuses.

Thanks for the input guys. I really like the look of them but I'll have to think about it awhile longer since I need a wheel that will hold up, winter and all.
