Just found this site a few days ago and just know got a chance to do some postings and introduce mysely. Countrifired hillbilly from down in the McDowell County coal fields, currently in Morgantown finishing up my mechanical engineering degree. Spent my time off from school mechanicing at a coal mine and then at a truck shop.
Bought my first truck about three years ago w/ after saving up for a while. IT's a s/b s/c 1995 F-150 XLT with a 302 and a 5 spd. Man that's a fun ride to make from the South to Morgantown with three guys!! Anyways, right now the 302's about to puke it's guts out and I'm planning a 4bt swap for the mpg and so I can out pull my cuz's Titan and my buddy's Hemi Ram 1500. So anyone with any experience w/ anything like this, I'd love to hear from ya.
The dyno event I attended in Ashtabula OH had a Jeep Comanche with a 4bt. This was back in April. Don Bankston 1992 Jeep Commanche 161hp 391tq

Welcome to the site! We've got several members from around your area. Stick around and they'll announce themselves. I'm down in Summers County along Bluestone Lake and the dam.
We're having a truck show down here in September. If you can make it, hollar and I'll send details.
Good luck on the motor swap. The only one I've ever done was to replace my 300 ci with another 300 back when I had my 86 SC SB XLT.

I like my 7.3 but I have had lots-a-fun in the 300 and many people around the area have respect for "Bulldog" after watching me tow the horse trailer and go to the barn!
