Hey guys I have been looking for ever trying to find some used Tow mirrors for my 01 F-250 none of the Salvage yards I have called has them and I was looking for some local help thanks guys!

 

Anyone have any suggestions?

 

Check out the Classifieds section of FTE from time to time....
I've seen them listed there on occasion.

You can always look on ebay as well.

If you do find a decent SD graveyard let me know! There are some 6.0 parts I'd be interested in.

 

Been there and done both of them heh, they are very hard to find. E-bay is about 200 dollars. I have also been lookin for 6.0 parts around here. I know they wreck them here I've seen it lol.


So where you located in the area?

 

Grew up in Knoxville, lived there about 20 years, went to school in the tri-cities and lived there for about 8 years, and now in Nashville for the past 8 or 9.

I've got the right-hand side of the state pretty well covered....

I'm not surprised by the $$$ the mirrors are bringing. I'll keep my nose to the ground for you.

Let me know if you see a really good condition 6.0 tranny cooler or intercooler just laying around and going for cheap...lol

 

I'm looking for the tranny cooler but if run across the intercooler I'll let ya know. I know the tricities well my mom is from Roan mountain

 

There is a pull a part (pick a part?) opening up soon on Rutledge pike. Try giving them a call or looking online for Knoxville. I think they open up for business this month. They have a rapid turnover of inventory (or so I have heard) And standardized pricing so you don't get robbed at the local junk yards.

 

Oh so thats what that is that they put in beside the Volvo dealer and the CAT parts store. I had forgot about that I will check it out next week, maybe they will have some superduties.

 

That Pull a Part on rutledge pike will be NICE! They seem to offer a good deal on cars and have a massive stock from what I could tell. You cannot buy from them until Monday the 23rd. Hours 8-6 seven days a week.

 

Yea a buddy has been going to the one in Atlanta for years and loves them. I hope this one has a wide selection also.
