Where are you in Mid TN?
Ask at the local co-op or any horse trailer dealer and they will know a good shop. Alot of the gooseneck hitches are available as a kit and most bolt on with the only hole necessary being the round one in the bed. You might consider doing it yourself.

I don't have the tools necessary to cut a hole in the bed.

Well, I just called them and it is $700 installed. It is the gooseneck turnover ball. That seems awful high to me.

They said they only offer the gooseneck fold down or the solid welded plate with the gooseneck on it.

Might be....its been 3 years since I had one put in. That includes all the electrical connections too I assume. I paid about $500 3 years ago for a turnover ball in a F250. What kind of truck you got and what trailer are you pullin'?
I know that dealer does good work, but you can look in the yellow pages and find other installers. Good Luck.
