my shop is called rail it customs, the truck is being built by myself and the folks at western edge performance, i do not own this shop but am a partner there,

to bag the uni your gonna have to swap in a IFS, like mustang 2 or volare(SP)

if you want to consider the front suspension swap your probably looking at around 5 grand or so for a air suspension setup installed, this doesnt include the cost of a front clip. with a clip im gonna say around 7500, bring it in stock and take it out of there laying frame.

hey man thats a sweet lookin truck... i wouldnt of minded if you used that chev motor... cause its your truck not mine...

the orange and black paint job is the one i like the most...

one thing i wont do to my truck is the chop top thing... the rest of the truck is to big, and the tiny cab makes it look sort of weird imo...

but it is your truck so do what you want...

and the supra motor is pretty intresting to say the least...

Any idiot can put a chevy engine in a hot rod, but today there is no reason to. If I walk up to your rod at a show and see the dist in the rear, I turn walk away, shake my head, while calling you a name.

A nice bowtie beside of it, I will look it over pretty good, because I can enjoy great workman ship.

Do the right thing, build an all Ford rod.

John
and whats wrong with the distributor at the rear? my FORD... came from a FORD factory like that.... in 1963...

billy, If I see two nuts on the valve cover, I know it's a man, not a little boy with a bowtie, and remain calm.

I'm not into low riders, I live 9200 ft above see level on top of a snowy rocky mountain, I honestly couldn't get that thing out of my driveway on a nice day.

Not into Toyota's, I have took a ride in a twin turbo supra and it WAS impressive but thats as far as my Toyota experience go's. Oh, I did make a blue insulator module work in a 20R because I didn't feel like paying $400 bucks for a new toyota module.

Not into chop tops or channeled bodies, 6'5" tall, I barely fit in a Unibody even with the custom seats that drop 2 inches lower and sit 2 inches further back.

But do I respect this guys build???? HECK YA!!!

The metal work is beautiful and the body lines look good. Rules were made to be broken and this guy is breaking them all.

If this guy can make this Toyota motor turn 600hp, and run smooth, where is the problem? Me personally, I love Y blocks and FE's and I have built a bakers dozen of them and I wouldn't go this way but he can do what ever he wants with HIS truck. Its only metal when you get down to it, and his metal work is awesome.

I am no fan of Japan, but being that I build hotsaws and motocross bikes I use quite a bit of jap stamped junk. I have been told that I "should build a bike saw with a Harley motor, that would be a real runner". Thats insane, I have my saws down in the 60 pound range, turning 70+ hp, spinning 11,000+ rpms, and winning races. I would love to build an American based saw but America let me down and didn't build a decent power plant. I stuck a video of my YZ250 link in my signature so you can see what I am talking about.

no, i build stuff for myself, not for anyone else, but i do deserve the same respect i give all of you guys here on this forum, i will say nothing bad about mark barbee, but i sure wont say anything good, it doesnt hurt to show some respect to someone when they take the time to share their project with you, its not that hard to refrain from being an *******, or a smart ass, its called being a grown up and respecting someones knowledge and ideas....

I think it looks great. Very impressive. The top doesn't look chopped, did you just add a big back window?

thanks! no the truck is a factory big window, we chopped out the cab underneath the back window to bring the window frame down onto the bedrail, kind of like a 59 el camino style rear window...
