hi i was lookin for ford parts online and i was linked to this forum so i decided to sign up, i have a 61 unibody. i know this is an old thread but i was wonderin if "NO1LOWER" was still in this forum cuz i saw he lived in Lancaster and live nearby. i had some questions and i was hoping to get some help. thanks

Welcome to FTE

If you are looking for new Ford parts, post what you need and I'll see if I can find them for you.

I do this every day here on FTE. I look up the part numbers, then search for them, then post the info on who has them.

The parts may still be at dealers, or obsolete parts vendors.

I can search all the US Ford dealers parts inventories, and the obsolete parts vendors parts inventories, as long as they have a website, and most of them do.

im still here and some things have changed, im gonna update you guys only because i love hearing all the flack....

btw man hit me up if you have any questions, id be glad to help answer anythign you need answered and if you want you can come by the shop its on sierra hwy and ave r in palmdale..

scrapped the chassis, building a chromoly chassis with independant rear and a toyota supra 2jz gte motor. the roof is chopped 3 inches and still retaining the factory rear big window, truck was sandblasted and a lot of rust repair was done on the cab corners and rockers..

its a 6cyl, porobably around 600 horse with some big boosties

oh... duh! I'm thinking or the MR2. Supra's a good way to go. now, personally I wouldn't have put it in. but I will admit it's a good engine. light and lots of horse. what about torque tho? I mean... it is a truck!

the trucks gonna be light my man, its all chromoly and new sheetmetal, should only way around 3500 lbs mas and a supra weighs around that itself...

oh ok! gonna go turbo or supers? personally I like turbos just because they don't rob horsepower. but I also like supers because of the instant boost. haha! never thought I'd be talking about this on this site!
