i have been looking for a supercharger that i can also use for everyday normal use. lets hear what the experts say==ATI PROCHARGER(CENTRIFIGAL STYLE)==EATON BASED MAGNACHARGER(ROOTS STYLE)or the new HOLLY THUNDER SUPERCHARGER(??? STYLE).
i guess the Holly is so new it doesn't have much of a track record, but they make their product sound like god made it;

I'd go with the new Holley which is just an upgrade of their 144 Roots style supercharger that now comes with a inter-cooler. Roots superchargers make more HP and Torque at a lower RPM than the centrificals...centrificals are kinda like a turbo in that they need to "spool-up" to build boost. As a general rule Roots styles are used with carburators and Centrificals are used with the later model fuel injected engines...but Holley has now come up with a system compatible with both...at least for the Ford 5.4

thanks deen i did go with the Holley Thunder and will put it on in a few days. looks good even off the truck--lol hope it performs with no problems.
