E350 blower motor question

I have an 01 E350 Van, the heater blower only works on high all of the sudden.. Whats wrong with it?

Blower on high and blowing through the defroster vents is usually a sign that you have a vacuum leak....at least on the trucks.

It blows through the correct vents, it just works on high though..

I had the same problem in my 1990 Bronco. The blower would only turn on when it was set to high. The problem was the blower resistor pack, which had blown out. Hahahah get it? The blower had a blow out. Ahh, I kill me. But searously check the resistor pack.

Is it located on the front of the heater box under the hood? I saw something that looked like it coule be it, It was connected to the heater motor too.

Yes, on my bronco the resistor pack was screwed into the side of the heater box under the hood with a bunch of wires plugging in to it.

Fixed, one of the contacts was rotted and fell off.. I had to replace the plug too..
