Well the only way to find out is to line em' up.....and go!

I think you could take him with your Harley, but I doubt it with the Expy.

Oh, my bad. Your sig has a "supercharged 03 Expy", and I must have read too quickly cause it looks like at a glace that you have 2 rigs. I was assuming the Harly had the mods and the Expy was only supercharged.

What does one of those Silverado SS's weigh in at?
I think would be the one deciding factor.

That being equal, your Expy should beat him. An LS2 will probably put similar power to the wheels, but not quite the same amount of torque, and certainly not the flat torque curve you will have.

Don't feel bad I thought the same thing. I had to go back and reread it myself. Don't underestimate those SS Chevys. I know a guy who has one and they are real quick. Just like many Chevys specs dumbed down. Line them up that will end the guess once & for all.

A video of the race would be sweet. Win or lose.

Should be close any way you look at it.

Weight is what I'd think is your problem.

Keep in mind the SS is AWD, so traction advantage will go his way.

Are you actually going to do it or just talking about it? If you do, let us know the verdict.

I used to have a Silverado SS and from factory they only had 345 hp, not 395 hp. I don't think there will be a problem with you coming out on top......

Weight for the SS is 5300 lbs. Has the LQ9 engine, not the LS2. Runs a 14.9 sec 1/4 mile. Now if there are mods on the SS then it might be a different story.

Good luck and keep it safe!!

the SS is AWD so he is going to launch on you, but you have more low end torque so you might have a chance. You are the underdog! Good luck and post the results.

The 6.0 liter LQ9 motor pumps out 345 hp @ 5200 rpm, 380 lb. ft. of torque @ 4000 rpm.

The Chevy SS weights in around 4947 LBS

Your truck comes in around 5600 Lbs

hes only got around 300hp or less at the tires so i think you would take him but it would be close, both HP to weight ratios are realy close!
