2001 - F150 supercrew (2 wheel) tire sizes

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-Aug-02 AT 06:16 PM (EST)]I need to replace the tires on my truck. I have a two wheel drive model and want to go as big as possible with no modifications. A tire rep is telling me that I could get Regul MT trailblazers 285/75/16 to work without rubbing. Is this true. I was considering 265/75/16, but want to get them as big as possible.

BFGoodrich in an AT now makes a 275/75-16 which would be an excellent choice, the 285/75-16's would really fill up the wheel well but most likely be fine.
