quick oil question

so i have recently bough a commuter car i bought a little hyundai cause my finances won't really allow to much more and its used and had a few miles on it like 60k my question is in my truck with a 460 i delo 400 and in my mustang with the 289 i use delo 400 both 15W-40 and have been very happy with the oil and i am wanting to use the delo in this hyundai 4cyl as well but i dunno if that oil is too much i was thinking the delo 5W40 syn cause i live in Phoenix, AZ where it is 116* in the summer like right now and what oil should i use cause i will be driving this everyday atleast 100miles a day or so

Does it have an owners manual? Some Asian cars allow a wide range of grades, including 10W-40, some do not. If that is the case, 15W-40 would be perfect. One oil for the whole fleet is always easier, but sometimes not possible.

A friend of mine has an Accent and the weight goes from 10w30 to 20w50. This is for a 4 cylinder. I find it kind of ironic that my 4.6 liter V-8 specifies 5w30 and that thick of an oil for a 4 cylinder import.

well i dunno i fallow the book on this one i am gunna keep it at 15w-40 year round cause it never gets cold here and its gunna be the cj-4 just in case
