Changing spark Plugs on a 2.5 8 plug motor

Does anyone know some tricks to changing #3 and #4 spark plugs on the driver side? Do I have to remove the upper intake or can I get them y going behind? I was able to get the plug on #3 but cant get the new wire back on the plug. Cant get to #4 at all

The biggest challenge I had on 91 dual plug was getting the sparkplug boots off. Finally used a long nose hose pliers then a long extension and a swivel sparkplug socket. And yes some body had not changed number 4 since the last time the plugs had been changed. I did not have to take the intake apart.

It takes some time, but with a 3/8" drive socket set you can manuver through the intake and change the plugs. Yes, getting the wires back on are a challenge, but you can do it.Put silicone grease on plugs and wires so they go on easier.
