'04 Scab 4.6 Intake

Was looking into buying a new intake system. Does anyone know if any one works better than another. I was looking at the AIRAID vs. K&M.

If I were to buy one it would be a Volant and the best price I have seen is Jusnes modified $269. I don't want the drone from the aftermarket intake. I will be sticking with the stock setup.

You should just take out the silencer in your stock intake, thats what i did and it sounds better, and i think i got more power although i did it awhile ago so i don't remember what it was like to not have it gone. Plus the best part, its free!

did you see my post on the thread about removing the silencer? It is there to isolate the incoming air from heat increasing hp. The engine will get more than enough air from the stock intake according to Ford mechanic.
