Stainless braided brake lines

Where are some good places (and what are the good brands) to get braided stainless steel brake lines? I checked inlinetube.com but it did not appear they had lines for my son's truck. I know Autozone carries Russell. Are these reliable? My son's truck is a 1996 F250HD 7.3L.

I'm pretty sure LMC lists the SS braided lines. Is the truck lifted or stock? If it's lifted the kit manufacturer should have new lines available.

The truck is not lifted. The orginal hoses are getting cracks from age and my son likes to go mudding a lot so I figured the braided stainless would be a little more rugged - and they look great! I will look at LMC - I had not heard of them before.

Thanks,
mark

Russell, Earls, Aeroquip, Explorer (pro-comp) and many others all make quality brake lines. These are all DOT approved for street use.
An alternative would be to have them made at a hydraulic hose shop. They are a little less expensive to have them custom made.

Thanks! I looked at LMC and they do not make stainless braided lines for my truck. I will probably go w/ a quality hose from someone on your list.

Not to jack this thread..but I have a similar question about the braided stainless steel brake line. If I want to order lengths of the tubing...what size is it? -4AN...-6AN? I have a 1992 F150.

I have a set of Earls brake lines but don't have them on yet. They are very nice. I had a local speed shop order them. If you want to run AN, go with a -3 (3/16").
