just put a different bed on my 78 f-250 the bed I took off had alot of cancer and the new one doesn't, but the sides near the front seems like its too narrow cause it doesn't line up with the cab. Im wondering can I fix that or do I have to find another bed for it? thanx

 

Measure across the front of the old bed, then the newer bed and tell us what you have. That should answer the question.
