I would...but as it is I'm going to be traveling to Arizona this weekend...and unfortunately Ill be headed in a little further Sounth using the 10 fwy...too bad Im not making a stop in Needles this trip...otherwise I'd be headed straight that way haha.

it was sick! dry lake beds, super fast and smooth, then the trails were sick, great views good company!! nothing like 4 wheelin with a caravan of 3 ford trucks!! you guys missed out! dont worry drj took pics of us bustin it out there

 

How was the weather? I'll try to make it next time, but I only have 2WD so I'll take my bike and follow. I've been riding there for years and know the area well. Did you make it to the Slash X?

 

the weather was awesome, it was like mid 80s, prolly only got into about the low 90s when we were there, there was a lot of cloud cover. and no worries about the 2wd i only have 2wd! and i led the 2 4x4 guys most of the time! we didnt get out to the slash x, we didnt get out to stoddard, we did make it out to three different dry lake beds which were sweet, im definetly going to get out to those lake beds again soon

 

Keep me posted for the next trip. Most weekends are free unless I work, but I can turn down the easy money for the desert. Haven't been to the desert since early spring. Miss that early morning scent of sage brush!

i had a great time, these guys are great...and nothing was broken. (believe me we tried!!)

however - on the way home about halfway down the 15 - my right front tire went dead...(tore a 3" hole on the inner sidewall) - reason #1 why you should ALWAYS stay on the trail in the desert - IT SAVES YOUR TIRES!!

AND - to make matters worse - the factory bottle jack is JUNK...fully extended i STILL had to let ALL the air outta the spare in order to get it on (thank god i had a small compressor!!)...plus it was 95 degrees and the job took 90 minutes - NICE HUH?

i USUALLY bring my floor jack - and that morning i figured "whats the big deal - we're only going out to play for the afternoon - what could go wrong?" famous last words!

but despite the tire trauma - i cant wait to do it again!!

hopefully next time we can get a few more trucks - and maybe we'll even make it a 2 day event!!!

yeah the trip and the day went awesome. i had a stock 4x4 crewcab and i still kept up with the aftermarket trucks. i had so much fun. i cant wait to lift my truck and head back out there for some serious offroading
