Welcome me to the 6.4 Club

I did it, bought a new 6.4L crew cab lariate - Solid back - everything except Nav. and DVD - LOVE the truck. So much quieter than my 6.0L and rides SO much smoother than my 2004

Yes, there must be proof of this purchase. Good choice on the truck though, sounds like a beauty. Glad you are enjoying it.

The stock intake should be more than enough...especially with the airflow.

As far as for the truck itself...cant wait to see it.

Congrats on the 6.4. Black sure looks nice, but it is a tough color to have down here, I made that mistake once and only once!

I had my '04 tuned - but I won't be touching this one I don't think. Going to be towing 13,000 lb. boat. Considered a dually, but didn't want the hassles when I'm driving it the other 95% of the time.

Yeah, they can be a bit of a pain to drive in tight areas and park. 13k is well within the limits of the SRW models.

Umm, 13K is over the limits of a CC SRW when conventional towing. 12.5K max conventional and 15.2k - 15.7k (depending on 4X4 or 4X2) when 5th wheel with 3.73 rear, or am I missing something?

You're right - it's border line though. Dry boat weight is 9,500 lbs, trailer weighs right at 2,000. Add 500 for gas and another 500 or so for misc. crap and I'm right there. Towed it this weekend though and it towed wonderfully.
