Weird sound when braking

I've noticed a weird sound coming from my brakes, when I leave off my brake pedal after it's been full depressed. The sound just happens when I first start to leave off the pedal. It's hard to describe but its almsot like a small "ringing "sound, I can't tell if its coming from the front or rear. The brakes work fine. Any ideas??

i have that same problem.I shook the tailgate and it made the sound you are describing. im thinking about trying to make a wedge or somthing similar to keep the pressure between the inside of the tailgate and the bed. you might try shaking the tailgate to see if thats the same sound you are describing. hope this helps.

if your tailgate is squeaking just get some grease and lube the latches. it will solve it. many have this problem, including myself.
