Ford for Ford...should or not?

I have an 83 Ford Bronco 4x4 351W with a C6 and NP208...power everything body is in great shape one little spot of rust and absolutely none on the tailgate. My buddy wants to trade me for his 1979 Ford F-250 2x4 460 with a 4SPD granny 3/4 ton rear with 40's on the back and 33's on the front and a steel flatbed.Should i trade him or not?just want some feedback.........Thanks guys.....

I wouldn't do it. The great looks of the 79 body would go ghetto with a flatbed. And then 40s on the rear and 33s up front? No thanks. It's not a dragster. And lastly, I'd never own a truck that didn't have a working transfer case and front axle.

i love those older trucks, but i would stick with your bronco 4x4 is always nice to have even if u dont use it you never know when u might need it and yeah 40s on rear with 33s on front sounds pretty stupid to me

I'd stay with the bronco. No questions.

A basicaly rust free 4x4 with a 351w.

I love the old body style, but I wouldn't even think about that one.

Definately keep the Bronco would be a different story if your buddy wanted to trade that 79 if it was a 4x4 but it's not.

If the 79 was a 4x4 with 40s all the way round id consider trading but not the way it sits now. Keep the bronc youll be way better off.

Keep the 4x4, any 4x4. Plus a pristine Bronco with a 351 and all power is even better. If I was your buddy I would be wanting that trade too
